Electrical Fire On First Floor

The fire, caused by a faulty electrical appliance, started in a bedroom and smoke damage occurred to the entire first floor and the loft area.

Soot deposits were cleaned from all surfaces, stain sealers needed to be applied to stop carbon deposits discolouring emulsion paints.

This contract was an urgent one due to the sleeping areas being badly fire and smoke damaged. We discussed with the homeowner regarding her preference of materials and decorating styles before we commenced repairing the damage caused by the fire.

The finished decoration was to the complete satisfaction of the policy holder.
